Welcome to the Bird Blog: Portland is fortunate to have the world’s fastest bird, the Peregrine Falcon, nesting on many of our local bridges. During the past week young peregrines have fledged (taken their first flights) at several of these sites.
Around Mt Hood: 12 Months-12 Directions: On display in the Interpretive Center Gallery at Heron Hall is the series of limited edition prints that were used to create Sue Allen’s 2009 calendar Around Mt. Hood: 12 months – 12 directions.
Night Flight: Family Fun - October 18, 2008! Trick or treat with naturalists and enjoy a night walk to investigate what creatures haunt the sanctuary at night.
