This kestrel was found stunned and unable to stand in the middle of the road near Forest Grove. Over the course of several days it has regained its ability to stand and perch and continues to do well in the hospital and will shortly be moved into a mew for test flight. |
![]() This adult pygmy owl was found stunned on the ground being mobbed by black birds in Clackamas on November 15. It quickly recovered in the Care Center and was released on November 20th. |
This owl was found on the side of the road in Gresham and sustained an injury to its right wing. It is currently resting and receiving supportive care in our hospital. |
This Short-eared Owl came to us with a severe fracture of the left wing. Dr. Dave Barno of Rock Creek Veterinary Hospital in Beaverton performed a three hour surgery to align the bones and pin them together. The owl will spend the next weeks recuperating at the Wildlife Care Center. Read more about this case here. |
