Interested in exploring the unique oak woodland and basalt rim rock country of North Central Oregon? There is the chance to see Lewis’ Woodpeckers, Ash-throated Flycatchers, Lazuli Buntings, Canyon Wrens and Golden Eagles. We will spend most of our time on the White River WMA around Tygh Valley. Meet at the Outlet Mall parking lot in Troutdale at 8am. Plan on an all day adventure, getting back after 6pm. Call Ron Escano @ 503-771-3454 for details and to reserve a spot.

May 28, Thursday Times: Start; 7:30am. End; 3pm Lou Fredd will take us to Conboy NWR, meet at Lewis & Clark SP on the east side of the Sandy River. First stop is a refuge near Mt. Adams, about 50 miles. Then on to Conboy NWR. This involves about a mile or so of walking on level trail. Bring lunch, scopes and dress for the weather (sun and wind exposure).
