Exploring the Intertwine: Wild in the City Field Trips
The Intertwine is all about access to nature in the city. Exploring the Intertwine field trips will introduce you to some of the region’s most scenic and wildlife rich natural areas and parks and get to know the ever growing regional trails network. For all kayaking and bicycling trips you need to bring your own equipment. Helmets are life jackets are required for all rides and paddles. Directions will be emailed to all registrants. Trip participants will be limited in number so sign up early.

Sunday, July 26th, Cycling The Willamette River Greenway to Smith and Bybee Lakes, 10 am to 3 pm
Wednesday, July 29th, Vera Katz Eastbank Esplanade to Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge, 8 am to 11:30 pm
Saturday, August 1st, Ross Island Paddle, 8 am to 11 am
Saturday, August 22nd, Riverfest, Sternwheeler the Rose, Ross Island Cruise 6 pm - 8 pm
Trips are free (unless otherwise noted) and pre-registration is required. Trip size is limited, please register early. For those who do not have access to the web they can register by calling 503-292-6855 x122. Directions and other details for each trip will be emailed to registrants after registering on the website. Registration must be received by 4:00 pm on the Friday before weekend trips or by 4:00 pm the day before weekday trips.
