Widlife Care Center No Longer Accepts Animals After-hours

The Care Center will no longer accept animals left at our facility outside of normal operational hours. The after-hours cages previously available at the Care Center entrance have been permanently closed.
We believe that it is imperative that we have the opportunity to talk directly with the person delivering an animal to our facility before it is accepted into our system. This direct contact allows us to gather all the information available about the animal being delivered and thus determine the best course of treatment. It also allows us to redirect animals not treated at our facility to an appropriate facility. While our after-hours cages offered a convenient drop-off option for people finding injured and orphaned wildlife, they have been fraught with problems.
